Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.

I think one of the best parts of my birthday this year was the excitement of my kids.
They wanted to celebrate my birthday just like we do theirs, BIG.
Cake, presents, decorations, dinner of choice, etc...
Kate found streamers in the party drawer, left-over from her birthday. I gave them a roll of tape and here is what we have....
My blog is dedicated to my children, Kate and Stephen. Everyday you bring me more joy than I ever could have imagined. I want to capture everyday, every wonderful fleeting moment... So you will always know, just how much I love you both.
The task ahead of us is never as great as the power behind us.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Phil 4:13
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth
Then took the other as just as fair And having perhaps the better claim Because it was grassy and wanted wear Though as for that, the passing there Had worn them really about the same
And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet, knowing how way leads onto way I doubted if I should ever come back
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence Two roads diverged in a wood And I took the one less traveled by And that has made all the difference
Robert Frost
SUCCESS
"He has achieved success who has lived well,
laughed often and loved much; Who has gained the respect of intelligent men
and the love of little children; Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; Who has left the world better than he found it,
whether by an improved poppy,
a perfect poem, or a rescued soul;
Who has never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty
or failed to express it; Who has always looked for the best in others
and given them the best he had;
Whose life was an inspiration; Whose memory a benediction."

Bed in Summer
In winter I get up at night And dress by yellow candlelight. In summer quite the other way I have to go to bed by day. I have to go to bed and see The birds still hopping on the tree, Or hear the grown-up peoples’ feet Still going past me on the street. And does it not seem strange to you When all the sky is clear and blue And I should like so much to play To have to go to bed by day.
