Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.

This little light of mine...

Most of you probably don't know, but the name "Claire" means light. I have always loved the name, in part because of the meaning. I remember when Josie and Michael were trying to decide on a name for their baby girl, they wanted to chose a strong name that represented hope and faith. One that would help define her and give her strength, knowing the tough journey that she was about to endure. I think Claire was a prefect choice.

She is a very strong light in our family. She always has a smile on her face and I love the way her head tilts back when she laughs. "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine." Her light reminds us that there are miracles in this world and we must keep our faith. Even times like this, her light still shines bright. Among the dopey state that little finger points to let us know that she is still number one, or waving her little hand to say hello when she sees someone she loves. I have faith in many things, and I have faith in Claire.
